The Unexpected All-Day Blush Extender: Laura Mercier Foundation Primer - Radiance

I'm not much of a foundation primer gal. For me, it's an extra step in my makeup routine, and most make my face feel either dry or oily depending on the formula.

But I accidentally discovered another use for Laura Mercier Foundation Primer - Radiance, her new foundation primer that provides a sheer, healthy glow to the skin.

Because I'm not wanting an all-over, dewy look, I've been adding a light stroke of Radiance to my upper cheek area similar to where you would place a highlighter. I'll do this after applying my foundation, not before. Often, I have a little extra product leftover so I've continued extending it down to the apples of my cheek. Next, I'll brush on my bronzer and blush.

The end result...my blush looks less matte, more luminous, and the color stays all day! I've experimented with both powder and cream blushes and I've experienced the same incredible results. Seriously, this is a makeup game changer as my blush always fades faster than any of my other makeup (e.g., eye shadow, liner, foundation, etc.). I'm quite fair so I really notice when my cheek color is gone.

The best part is that since I'm barely using any product my gift-with-purchase mini tube will last forever!

Purchase info: Laura Mercier Foundation Primer - Radiance is available at local Laura counters, Sephora, and online. It retails for $30.00 (1.7 oz tube).
