How to Fake a Healthy Glow: NARS The Multiple in G-Spot

This past week or so I've been fighting serious holiday fatigue and a nasty sinus bug. The end result...a lifeless complexion that resembles Casper the Friendly Ghost.

However, I've been faking it pretty well thanks to NARS The Multiple in G-Spot. This multi-tasking powerhouse has infused a healthy glow to my face that even fooled my mother into thinking I was 100 percent well.

The Multiple in G-Spot (yes, this is the product's real name) features a unique creamy formula that blends effortlessly to eyes, lips, and cheeks. In my case, I've been using it primarily as a blush. While I would have not picked this rose shade (I usually prefer a coral or peach hue), it has just the right mix of gold flecks to offset the rose. It's warm without getting too ruddy. Sometimes the browner rose or mauve shades turn very unnatural on me. But this one is perfect. And not too flat (matte) or glittery. Just right!

My only complaint is the product's staying power. I've been experimenting with different brushes to see what works best. Quite honestly, I'm getting the best results — up to 6 hours — by applying directly with my fingers.

Purchase info: NARS The Multiple in G-Spot is available at NARS counters and online. It retails for $39.00.
