July Edition: A Few of My Favorite Things

I've been in the shopping/looking mood lately. It seems like once the Nordstrom Anniversary sale hit on the 15th, I was dropping the dough. Here are some items that caught my eye — and often wallet — this month:
  1. Deborah Lippman Fall Nail Color in Brick House: I'm always a sucker for orange polish and this rust metallic hue will be perfect once the seasons change. I spotted it during the Anniversary Sale. Available at Nordstrom.com for $16.00.
  2. Tupelo Dress: I found this festive, vintage-inspired dress at my local Anthropologie. They were out of my size, so I've placed it on my "wish list" in hopes that I'll be able to try it on soon. Available at Anthropologie.com for $168.00.
  3. Trish McEvoy Black Rose Oud Eau De Parfum: This is the first rose fragrance that has completely knocked me off my feet...in a good way. And, it's the first one that garnered multiple compliments from strangers the first day I wore it. Look for my in-depth review in the near future. Available at Trish counters and online for $185.00.
  4. Bobbi Brown Sand Tortoise Shell Eye Palette: I've resisted buying an eyeshadow palette for months, but this one was so reminiscent of Bobbi's Shimmering Nudes Palette — my all-time favorite — that I caved. Available at Bobbi Brown counters and online for $60.00.
  5. Teavana Blackberry Mojito Green Tea: This blend of loose-leaf, green tea combines succulent blackberries and raspberries with a spearmint kick. I've been drinking it iced all month long! Available at Teavana stores and online. Prices start at $7.80 for 2 ounces.
