The Nearly Indestructible Nail Polish: Deborah Lippman Nail Lacquer in Fashion

My beauty manicures — including the professional ones — rarely survive more than three days. I tried nearly every combination of base and top coats, an array of polish brands, and various polish application techniques. Nothing seems to make a difference until now.

For my past three manicures, I've been able to keep all my polish fully intact for a week. I could have probably gone longer except the nail regrowth without polish color was driving me bonkers. The only difference from previous manicures was the polish color itself. I used Deborah Lippman Nail Lacquer in Fashion, a light nude taupe shade that pulls almost lavender on my hands. It's one of those unique colors that will probably look different on everyone, but for me it's very close to my skin color. (A side note: it's almost identical in hue to my favorite eye shadow base, Trish McEvoy Eye Base Essentials in Demure.)

I don't know if it's the creme formula that is part of the magic or just my lucky bottle of polish. No complaints either way!

Purchase info: Deborah Lippman Nail Lacquer in Fashion is available at select nail boutiques, Nordstrom, and online. It retails for $16.00.
