March Recap: Use It Up Product Challenge

Three months down and nine more to go in the use it up challenge! To date, I've completely finished a grand total of 32 items in 2011. Here's a recap of the March items...

Week of March 28th:
  • Laura Mercier Fresh Fig Honey Bath: Laura's honey bath products are my all-time favorite bubbles (Related Review Mar. 2010). They're uber rich with great moisturizing properties, and the scents are always very unique. (Repurchase: I bought the Crème de Pistache scent!)
  • Trish McEvoy Luminizer: This product is a staple in my makeup bag. It's a click-pen that delivers a little extra glow when your face needs a pick-me-up. I use one click around my under-eye area before applying concealer. (Backup: I have an extra in my drawer that I've already started using.)
  • Secret Clinical Strength Antiperspirant & Deodorant Advanced Solid, Sensitive Skin: This is another daily must-have item (Review Nov. 2010). It's my favorite antiperspirant that really goes the extra mile without being too harsh for my skin. (Backup: I ordered a replacement on drugstore.com since I've had a hard time locating the sensitive skin version in my area.)
Week of March 21st:
  • Trish McEvoy N° 9 Blackberry & Vanilla Musk Body Polish Sugar Scrub: I'm mesmerized by most anything with this decadent Trish fragrance. I've enjoyed this scrub, which is a combo of both sugar granules and sea salt. However, with the addition of salt I've found that I cannot use it after shaving or one big ouchie! (Skip: For now. I'll probably purchase it again, but I have other scrubs to try.)
  • Sonya Dakar Daily Wash (Verbena Cypress): I'm saddened to discover my empty bottle in the shower (Review Jan. 2011). This has been the most luxurious shower gel that I've ever tried. It's chalked full of the best ingredients for keeping my body clean, moisturized, and blemish free. Yes, sometimes I get those annoying back zits that drive me nuts! (Skip: I have a hard time spending $35 for a body wash although I got mine on sale. I'm pass for now, but I may cave if I can't find an equivalent.)
Week of March 14th:
  • Target Liberty of London Sugared Grapefruit Candle: This was a great 2010 candle find that was full of sweet citrus goodness (Related Review April 2010). I purchased three different scents during this limited edition Liberty of London product offering at Target, and each one was amazing. But sadly...I'm down to my last one now. (Replacement: Will have to find something new for my home office!)
  • Trish McEvoy Lash Curling Mascara: Today I realized that I never did an official review of one of my all-time favorite mascaras. I love this tubing style mascara that both curls and lengthens my lashes. And it stays put all day. (Skip: I'll hold off repurchasing in the short term as I already have another tube of mascara open.)
Week of March 7th:
  • John Masters Sweet Orange & Silk Protein Styling Gel: I've been mixing this light hair gel with AG Hair Cosmetics recoil Curl Activator. Together they make a nice pair for battling frizz and keeping my curls intact. (Replace: As much as I've enjoyed using this product I've decided to try something new. Its replacement is Matrix Biolage Curl Defining Elixir. I'll review with the next several weeks.)
  • Lafco Celery Thyme Dining Room Candle: This was the perfect candle for masking cooking odors in my house (Review Nov. 2010). (Skip: I have oodles of other candles to rotate in before I purchase a replacement. However, I am re-purposing the beautiful glass jar in my bathroom. It's the perfect container for my makeup brushes!)
Week of March 1st:
  • Trish McEvoy Even Skin Beta Hydroxy Pads: Since January, I've been using these exfoliating pads daily (Review Jan. 2011). I typically use one in the AM after my shower. It's my first step before applying a serum and moisturizer. I'm SO impressed with the difference that they've made in my skin. I rarely experience any dry flaky patches and my skin seems so much smoother. (Use spare: I took advantage of a buy 2 get 1 free offer last year.)
  • Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream: Another holy grail drugstore item that I stumbled upon earlier in the year (Review Feb. 2011). Miraculous hand transformer — it's really that life changing for me. My only gripe is that the cream is not sold in a larger size. (Repurchase: By all means!)
