April Recap: Use It Up Product Challenge

April was a crazy month for accurately analyzing my product usage as I was traveling for 17 out of the 30 days. During my time on the road, I mostly consumed travel-sized products and small decants from my own product arsenal. However, I did manage to use up some of my full-sized items, including:

April 11 to 30:
  • Bobbi Brown Brush Cleaning Spray: Yes, I finished yet another bottle! (Repurchase: On the shopping list!)
  • Neocutis JOURNÉE Bio-restorative Day Cream: This has been my staple day cream/facial sunscreen since January (Review Apr. 2011). (Repurchase: I bought another bottle right before I left on my trip.)
  • Trish McEvoy Beauty Booster Serum: I tend to go through the serum about every 6 weeks (Review Oct. 2009). (Backup: I have an extra bottle that I purchased earlier in the year.)

Week of April 4th:
  • Trish McEvoy Deluxe Eye Shadow in Shell: I not only hit pan on this shadow, but used it all the way down to the point that I couldn't pick up even color pigment on my brush. It took two years of almost daily use to finish it up! I typically apply shell — a light pink matte shadow — all over my eyelid to set my eyelid base primer similar to how face powder is used to set foundation. I love that it is completely neutral and complements any other shadows I'm using, from neutral taupe and gray to purple and teal! (Repurchase: Absolutely! It's on my weekend shopping list.)
