No Crunch Styling Potion: Bumble and bumble Grooming Creme

Sometimes my curls need a break from their regular styling product routine. I don't understand why, but on a random day everything just stops working. The frizz comes back, the curls lose their definition, and I want to put a bag over my head. On these days, I don't switch out everything as that could create more havoc, but rather I will swap one item in the mix. (Remember curls thrives on product cocktails!)

My newest item in the rotation is Bumble and bumble Grooming Creme. It is a styling moisturizer creme that gives natural separation, subtle hold, and a soft, smooth low-glow satin finish. In addition to using Grooming Creme on curly hair, it is also good for thick, coarse, and afro textures or dry hair; good for men, minimalists, or one-minute styling.

I use it as a final finishing product — after first applying a curl-enhancing product — and will then let my hair dry naturally. The end result is that my curls are softer and there is no crunchy mess that I have to scrunch out once completely dry.

After several weeks of continual use, this one is definitely a keeper.

Purchase info: Bumble and Bumble Grooming Creme is available exclusively at salons and retailers in the Bb Network, as well as on Bumble and bumble.com. It retails for $12 (2 oz tube) or $25 (5 oz tube).
